Understanding The Causes Of Obesity In Children
It is no secret that as a nation struggling with our weight. The birth of fast food - as well as processed and packaged foods, and a shift to a more sedentary lifestyle has led to a national battle of the Bulge. As adults, we struggle with our eating habits and exercise, to prevent various diseases associated with obesity. But when the obesity, which exists in a child, there is a greater responsibility to change lifestyles and avoid the possibility of the disease at a young age. But to make changes, you must first understand the causes of obesity in children. Childhood obesity is defined by a rate of more than 25 percent body fat in men and the percentage of an organization of more than 32 percent fat in young people aged 6-11. The causes of obesity in children are varied and focus mainly on lifestyle and genetics. Obviously, if there is a medical reason for the uncontrollable weight gain in a child - as a problem with your thyroid - then these elements can be treated medically. Often, with proper medication, the weight can be controlled and the limits of good health. Also, genetics may play a role in susceptibility to weight gain. Addressing these causes of obesity in children requires attention to these issues, lifestyles and make changes when the child is young enough to ingrain these new habits into their lives. Limit TV and playing team sports and promote physical exercise and physical play is the first step. The step is to minimize the other treaties, high-fat foods and instead to focus on whole, natural foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean protein. In addition, soft drinks and fruit juices sugar must be replaced immediately with water or skim milk. Obviously, these changes are not easy to do.
