One of the most popular methods for weight loss is that diets low in carbohydrates, high in protein. This has become popular for many Americans, after numerous studies have found that reducing carbohydrate intake, your body converts fat into fuel. Normally, your body burns carbohydrates for energy to become its various organs. Continuing diets low in carbohydrates, high in protein may reduce the tendency to feel hunger and help you eat less than usual. But, unknown to many people, these diets may have different health risks. These include: kidney failure. When a person consumes large amounts of protein, the kidney reacts and becomes more susceptible to many diseases. Heart disease. Foods high in protein can lead to high cholesterol, thereby exposing of stroke and heart disease. Cancer. This disease is often a consequence of the lack of necessary nutrients and vitamins derived from food rich in carbohydrates. Eat fruits and vegetables reduces the tendency to develop cancer. Osteoporosis. Some studies have shown that consuming too much protein causes the body to flush out the calcium in the urine. If this trend continues, the person who increases their risk of developing osteoporosis. Weight loss is a good thing, but should not get in the way of having a healthy body. A high protein diet low in carbohydrates often requires that you cut down on fruits and vegetables, foods that are better known as rich sources of vitamins and minerals. Experts believe that losing weight does not mean depriving yourself of much needed coal, but instead, requires a complete makeover for your lifestyle. This means reducing calorie intake and more participation for the exercise.
