Don't Just Go On A Diet - Watch What You Eat!

I do not pretend to be a diet guru. But I am a supporter of good food. I am embarking on a plan to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle. This is what I know to be true. It is important to understand that as important as the amount of food they eat - are the types of food. A healthy food without additives, can help your body in good health and can help you reach your goal weight. How? Food additives to preserve or make them appear or taste better in reality do more harm than good. I personally believe that these additives have altered our taste buds so that what you expect, as the true taste of something that is not true at all. We are better off eating foods in their most natural state possible. Years ago when I was much smaller and weighed less (smile) I often stayed with my grandparents in rural Virginia. Most of what we ate came from their gardens. It's always been for me to choose the vegetables in the morning to serve daily meals. For my money, there's nothing like a tomato off the vine, the beautiful sun kissed squash or corn husked just to make a wonderful dinner. What I mean here is that this food directly from the orchard and the table is the way it was intended to be served. E 'was and is even better for you and the best part? In most cases, unless your doctor or dietitian has advised otherwise, you can eat your fill of fruits and vegetables. This means it will be bigger, but faster, with foods that are best for you! What's better than you think? Fill out the junk food and soda or vegetables and milk or juice? I think you know. Hand in hand with diet and exercise. You have to join a gym or run a marathon? No! Just move. A simple walk around the block, using the stairs instead of the elevator or parking at a distance from the door through are small steps you can take to get some movement in his life. And the last advice is to drink plenty of water. Not only will it flush impurities from your system, you will feel full and may eat less. So how diet try something tried and true: In other words, no "diet" at all, just change your habits and get moving to get great healthy results.
