Activity + Poor Food Choices = Non Healthy Lifestyle
One of the major misconceptions that people have today is what constitutes a healthy lifestyle. Just because the exercise does not mean they are healthy. I've heard too often, oh, I can not eat because then the work of 30 or 40 minutes on the treadmill, jogging, walking, (fill in the blank with the exercise of the option). NO, NO, NO! Once in a transgression, but are one thing, but if you want to be in good health, we must eat healthy and exercise, the two go together. Now think about this, if one thinks this way as an adult, what he is teaching his children. Yes, that's okay to eat junk food while they are active. Not only that, so many parents, they say, so my kids eat all that, but have no weight, so it's okay. NO NO! While on the surface, I think you are doing serious harm to both your body and baby. Think high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Remember the old saying people "You are what you eat" applies here. We all carry what we learn from our childhood in our lives as adults. We are laying the groundwork here for a duration of eating poorly for your child. Do you really want to do this? No, I do not think so. Therefore, we must lead by example and start eating healthy and remain active. Now, most children who work do so through after school or organized sports activities that interest them. But what happens when you get older, when such activities are no longer a part of his life. You got it, because sedentary behavior has not provided the role model you need for a healthy lifestyle. You must give them more options than just sporting activities: walking, jogging, horseback riding, jumping rope, aerobics to name a few. And "one of their responsibilities as parents teach their children to eat healthily and the importance of the work only as a child, but when they reach adulthood. Then you should be a good model. We've talked in other articles, take stairs instead of the elevator, walk to and from the bottom of the carpark. Joining a gym or sports equipment (bikes, trampolines, DVDs) at home. One of the best things for a child to see their mom or dad to watch a video or working on a piece of sports equipment and sought to emulate them. What a perfect opportunity to teach dance, run, jump rope so they can do something with you. Next make sure you have to be active in the planning and preparing meals. Let them give their contribution. Take time to talk to them about the foods they are doing and you're eating. And please do not tell me you do not have the time, what time or any honestly, why not have children! Yes, we want our children to be active and involved. However, an important caveat is to limit the number of activities with the children involved. Too many children today join everything to please their parents and while they last! Realistic with your time as you would your own. Be sure to emphasize your child not to participate in everything. The emphasis that if they also will be involved in one or more activities and is not suitable for that particular group. Talking to them downtime. Make sure you know it's okay to relax. We need balance in our lives and the only way to make sure we do everything in moderation, and have free time for ourselves. Resting restores the balance that is so important for a healthy life. So let's start today to show our children that healthy eating + Activity = Healthy Lifestyle! Copyright 2005 companies deflowered
