How To Reach Your Fitness Goals And Watch Tv

Here is a sad truth that is contributing to the obesity problem in America: Americans watch much television. Here are some interesting statistics TVTurnoff.org:
  • The average American household has the TV for 8 hours a day
  • The average American watches 4 hours and 35 minutes of television per day
  • The average American household has 2.55 people, but the average household has 2.73 television sets also Statistically, we have more televisions per household in this country, we the citizens! We have very quickly become a lazy people, looking for entertainment. No wonder there is a problem with the overweight and obese. This is not news, but when you're sitting in front of the TV that you are contributing to a sedentary lifestyle in general. A lifestyle that is proven to be the main reason for overweight and obesity. The purpose of this article is not suggesting that you all turn off television forever (although this can not be a bad thing) but rather to suggest that at least make some good use of time spent sitting in front of the TV. So how can make this time more productive? In fact, get up and do something instead of watching the tube! Both during the show you're watching or at least the boring advertising, go out and do some push-ups. During a commercial break rules, you could probably get at least 20-40 push-ups based on their level proficiency. Then perhaps during another break to do some crunches or bear weight. The idea is that if you're going to sit around a watch television, at least do something productive and useful to achieve the goals of the gym weight loss. Here is a brief list of exercises you can easily do at home that require little or no equipment that can be done while watching TV:
    • Inflections
    • Wall Squats
    • - A Squats
    • Quick run around the house
    • Chair Dips
    • Angle AMY
    • Free weights or anything with the bands you have in your home
Be creative! It also could come with little to do mini workouts, or even a competition between you and the other to watch the show. See who can do more push-ups before the show back up. This not only found himself in a good year, but you are also a good time with those around you and motivate others to achieve their best.
